Today
Today at Enrich I did some photography in the morning and then after morning tea I have started doing a passion project. A passion project is something that you like and then you build on it. I like Art, but I didn't wan't to do sketching or panting because I can do that at home, so I've decided to do a stone carving. My design is a sheep. I've just started it so I've only got basic shape. But so far it's been really fun! The picture above is Oamaru stone - that is what I am using for my stone carving.
What a great idea Libby. Are you going to sketch your sheep before you carve? I have never carved Oamaru stone but I do have a sculpture at home that I love. A friend made it for Quentin and I when we got married. It is soooo heavy!!
